Locker Room Amenities

I really do love 24hourfitness, but the locker room situation could use some love. I live in the NYC, so a good, clean gym is hard to come by and I have to say on that front 24hourfitness does a pretty good job. But the locker room is offerings don't seem to match those of the rest of the gym. In all 3 gyms I've frequented, Midtown, Soho, and Madison Sq Park:

  • there is minimal counter/mirror space in the women's locker room, it's not so easy to get dressed/ready for work during morning hours when everyone is trying to use the same mirror/counter
  • there are only 2 hairdryers (and I might add that for months now 1 of the hairdryers at Mad Sq Park is broken)
  • i have to bring my own shampoo/conditioner bc the ones provided are so awful (not to mention, I've never heard of either brand)
  • hand lotion is provided, but not body lotion

I do love 24hourfitness, but I would love to not have to bring things to the gym that should be provided, like a blow dryer/body lotion/shampoo/conditioner. When I go to the gym in the morning I want to leave feeling just as good as I do when I'm finished working out, not frustrated at the locker room situation.

Please consider making some changes.

Soap and shampoo used to be good, until the switch to Gojo just recently.

Go to midtown and madison square among others in the NY/NJ area, agree that it's a great gym that would reap huge benefit by making some relatively small changes in the locker rooms.

Lockers are also not very good.  Professional people use these gyms, you can't hang pants by the hook in those half length lockers.  Suggest future gyms offer a mix of half and full length lockers.

the new soap is aweful, the old dial soap was amazing. Please switch back to the old soap.
